Troubleshooting Steps
1. Verify Your Email Address:
- Make sure you’re using the email address registered in your Meru Health account.
- Double-check to ensure you’re not using a different email address.
- In some cases, using a work email may have some access restrictions when using the verification link.
2. Update the App:
- Ensure you have the latest version of the Meru Health app by checking for updates in your app store.
3. Restart Your Email Application:
- Close your email app completely. Remove the app from the recent applications list or use the force stop option in the device settings.
4. Re-enter Your Email in the Meru Health App:
- Open the Meru Health app and re-enter your email address to request a new login email.
- Close the Meru Health app after entering your email.
5. Relaunch Your Email Application:
- Open your email app and look for the most recent login email from Meru Health.
- Make sure to open the latest email as previous ones might not work.
6. Click on the Login Button:
- Click on the "Log In" button in the email.
- If you’re redirected back to the login screen in the app, repeat the process using the newest email received.
7. Reinstall the App:
- If the issue persists, try deleting and reinstalling the Meru Health app:
- iPhone: Long press the app icon > Tap 'Remove App' > Confirm deletion > Reinstall from the App Store.
- Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Meru Health > Uninstall > Reinstall from the Google Play Store.
Special Cases
1. Using Microsoft Outlook & Edge Browser:
- If you're using Outlook for email and Edge as your browser, follow these steps if clicking the "Confirm your email" or "Log in to Meru Health" buttons doesn’t work:
iPhone:
- Long press the "Confirm your email" or "Log in to Meru Health" button in the email and select "Copy Link."
- Open the Safari browser, paste the link into the address bar, and open the website.
- Click the "Login to Meru Health" button on the website and the app should open.
Android:
- Long press the "Confirm your email" or "Log in to Meru Health" button in the email and select "Copy link address."
- Open the Chrome browser, paste the link into the address bar, and open the website.
- Click the "Login to Meru Health" button on the website and select the Meru Health app on the prompt that appears.
Note for Both Platforms:
If you can't install Safari or Chrome, try deleting and reinstalling the Edge web browser, then re-click the link in the email.
Additional Tips:
- Check your email spam or junk folder if you don’t see the login email in your primary inbox.
- Make sure your email app is set to sync and update emails automatically to avoid delays in email delivery.
