How it Works
The finger sensor is used in place of the ear sensor and works alongside the biofeedback device as an optional resource for those unable to use the ear sensor.
Your Meru Health biofeedback device electronically detects your pulse and provides information on your body's response to various breathing exercises.
Biofeedback exercises can help train the body to regulate involuntary functions such as breathing and heart rate. This practice enhances both physical and mental health, helping the body better manage stressors.
Understanding Indicator Lights
The device has four key light indicators. The color displays will indicate the following:
Blinking Red: Measuring Heart Rate
Solid Red: Low Battery
Solid Green: Charging
No Visible Light: Off and Fully Charged!
Connecting your Finger Sensor
- Open the Meru Health app and open a biofeedback breathing practice.
- Find a comfortable position and prop your phone against a stand or something that will help you sit with your back straight.
- Plug the finger sensor cable into the biofeedback device. This will turn on the device.
- Insert your finger on the gray sensor as displayed in the image below.
- The Meru Health app will then connect to the device (if you are prompted to turn on Bluetooth, be sure to do so).
- You will receive a confirmation within the app if the device connection was successful.
Be sure to unplug the device after each use to save battery!
